Molly Xanthopoulos

Xanthopoulos Dressage Horses

Exceptional horsemanship and a solid basic foundation of dressage have shaped Molly’s career. Her dressage education began in Magnolia, Texas under Fran Dearing Kerr, a USEF “S” judge and owner of Windy Knoll Farm. During this time, Molly advanced through the levels as a junior rider and experienced international competition at the North American Young Rider Championships where she helped her team bring home the Gold Medal and was personally awarded the Captain Andrew B. de Szinay Sportsmanship trophy.

Molly's desire to continue studying dressage led to training at the Reiterhof Moos in Salzburg, Austria and later at the Gestut Moosmuhle in Weilheim, Germany. Back in the US, Molly trained under Gunnar Ostergaard, multiple Danish National Champion where she went on to be a working student for him in Florida, Vermont, and Copenhagen.

In 1994 Molly began riding professionally and brought her experiences of working on a breeding farms and competitive dressage farms to her own business, Xanthopoulos Dressage Horses.

Molly continues her own education through regular training with Silva Martin and Scott Hassler. She clinics with world renowned equestrians such as Debbie McDonald, Ulla Salzgeber, and Michael Klimke. In addition, Molly has participated in the Young Dressage Horse Trainers Symposium since its beginning in 2005.

Today, XDH enjoys the success of its horses and riders and their careers in sport. Molly’s accomplishments as a rider help her develop young horses from starting under saddle to finishing at Grand Prix. Her patience and dedication to riders helps them enjoy their horses and meet their own individual goals.
